Studio Landscape Painting

This is an oil painting based class. We will work with thumbnails, notans, drawing, and new color palette ideas.
This landscape course will explore many contemporary painting ideas and methods focusing on landscapes as the subject. We will explore the process of building a painting , color theory , application and much more. Although we will learn how to work with photos as our reference, we will occasionally work from life as well. Students will experience both group and individual instruction in this class.

Prerequisites: Fundamentals I, Fundamentals II and Intermediate Painting

Phthalo Blue

Ultramarine Blue

Burnt Sienna

Large Tube of Mixed White 

Liquin (small bottle)

Palette Knives
