This is 100% rag paper, where the painting surface is sealed and insulated from subsequent layers of paint with 2 coats of golden’s black gesso and then topped with two coats of golden’s light mounding paste. It comes in both horizontal and vertical preparation.

The overall paper measures 15 x 22 inches the horizontal work surface measures 9 inches tall and 18 inches wide while the vertical work surface measures 17 inches tall and 10 inches wide. These measurements are all approximate as this preperation is completed by hand and varies slightly with each sheet. We have also included a small black border around the work surface in most cases.
