For students age 13 to 18, painting, drawing, printmaking, clay, and more. This class offers the unique experience of serious art instruction in a working artist's studio. Figure drawing is not mandatory, but it is always encouraged as an appropriately attired model will be present once monthly. Students are challenged individually and allowed to grow at their own pace. Weekly lessons paired with time to work on individual goals makes this an overall well rounded class. This class can be tailored for the hobbyist, AP Portfolio prep, or college portfolio prep.
Tuition is $230 per 6-week session.

Creative Concepts in Painting
This course is focused on advanced painting techniques. It is intended to improve the artist's brush work, paint application, and confidence. Three classes per month are devoted to working from life and the fourth class per month will be for in-process work and individual critiques. Students must be actively painting outside of Braitman Studio to stay on schedule with the class.
This class is on Wednesday afternoons from 1 pm to 4 pm
In this class we will explore advanced painting techniques, approaches, and methods not covered in our regular painting classes. This is a hybrid between abstract, concrete imaging, and daily painting classes. Each student will have the opportunity to explore the painting process from idea to concept to execution. Unleash your creativity through concept, exploration, application, and presentation.
Tuition is $325 per 6-week session.
