Braitman Studio's 2015 Summer Art Exercises: #7 DECOLOR

IMG_4540_Fotor_Collage The final of the “Seven Ds” is DECOLOR. (De)Color is one of the important tools we have to use an an artist. Pick a triad that you have never used before and create a small painting or color study with it. For example, try using cadmium orange, azo red deep, green umber and white. You can use any three colors and white but no black/mixed black. Your darkest dark will be created by mixing your darkest colors together, which may result in a midtown as your dark.

Great work with the “Seven Ds” exercises!
